Continuing with our mission to provide reliable remanufactured locomotives to meet the critical demand for locomotive power, Rolling stock solutions is delighted to provide the Commuter Rail industry with the latest updates on the improvements being introduced to our F40 Locomotives.
A key improvement is the installation of a brand new High Voltage Electrical Cabinet. The electrical cabinet includes all new contactors, switches, and wiring, and will house the brand new microprocessor control system and Wi-Tronix Violet Edge ecosystem. Taking this approach ensures that each locomotive is rebuilt to the latest standards allowing for reduced maintenance requirements, improved reliability, and enhanced performance.
As our locomotives go through the manufacturing process RSS will continue to provide regular detailed updates.
